International Women's Day At Deutsch

This Friday, March 8th is International Women’s Day – the global holiday where we all get to celebrate the women in our lives and the women who shape our world. The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.” We’re talking gender equality, and we’re putting our money where our mouth is. Here at Deutsch, we make a habit of investing in women. Not only is our entire staff made up of women who are experts in fine jewelry, but we also work with several women-owned designers who make unique luxury jewelry. This year, we are celebrating International Women’s Day 2024 by showcasing some of our favorite women-owned brands and discussing the elements that set them apart. We are proud to carry Houston’s own Armenta Collection, the nature-inspired Lauren K Fine Jewelry, and the versatile Jude Frances Jewelry. This International Women’s Day, feel a little extra festive by bedecking the #OOTD with some women-designed luxury jewelry from Armenta, Jude Frances, and Lauren K fine jewelry.

Awestruck by Armenta

We had to give our hometown luxury jewelry designer the first spot on our International Women’s Day write-up – we love to have a women-owned and -operated fine jewelry maker in our own backyard. Known for their old-world designs mixed with modern twists, Armenta has been making waves in the luxury jewelry world for years. Inspired by classical art and architecture, many Armenta designs end up being perfect statement pieces to an outfit. Armenta is the perfect designer to showcase for International Women’s Day 2024, not only because they are women-owned, but because Armenta has committed to the women of Houston since the inception of their atelier. They even created a jewelry crafting school that catered to disadvantaged women looking to make a career out of fine craftsmanship. Our next leading lady designer is from New York City and always brings something one-of-a-kind to the table. Lauren K is a woman-owned fine jewelry designer who dedicates their designs to nature and organic shapes. No Lauren K piece is the same – because they craft their luxury jewelry around the majesty of nature’s design, each gemstone is fitted based on its natural shape, texture, and inclusions. Lauren K also tends to go for bright and pigmented gemstones over just a simple diamond, meaning every single piece has a hint of whimsy that’s hard-sought in the luxury jewelry world.
